PELATIHAN MULTIMEDIA BAGI GENERASI MUDA DI JKI VELLEY OF PRAISE SURABAYA SEBAGAI UPAYA UNTUK MEMANFAATKAN TEKNOLOGI DALAM GEREJA

Abstract

The existence of multimedia in the church has a huge influence on the development of services and church growth, which is why every media in the church must be used and utilized for the benefit of the ministry and the church. However, the phenomenon that occurs is that churches that have adequate multimedia facilities are not used and put to good use, and in the end they are only used as "showcases". This community service activity provides guidance and multimedia training to the younger generation at JKI Valley Of Praise Surabaya which aims to utilize technology in the church which has an impact on the development of services and church growth. The methods used include preparing a series of activities, outreach, mentoring, training, monitoring and application support. The research results show that training on the use of multimedia in the church is very effective in increasing service development and church growth. The knowledge and skills acquired have an impact on the development of services specifically in terms of conveying information about church activities through posters, videos and other church activities.
